2.14.13 - Brownie Scraps Loving Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello digi scrappers,

I hope you're enjoying all the inspiration on our little blog hop. You should have come from Blue Heart Scraps and your next stop is Down This Road Designs.

I love seeing how scrappers take my digital templates and transform them into love-ly layouts. It only takes a couple of personal touches to make them all their own. Here's a look at a few of my recent favs.

Using Full Heart v.1

I love how Kairyn replaced some of the hearts in the template with layered hearts from her kit and added the love tickets to the side of the photos.

Using Heart Strings v.1

I adore Jenn's clustering skills. She can take a plain template and load it up just right with all kinds of fun ellies. I especially love the greenery and worn pattern background.

Using On Edge v.1

Melanie didn't let a wrong photo orientation slow her down. She rotated the small photo on the bottom left to work for her photo and then captured our hearts with the BIG photo of her little birthday girl. I smile every time I see this cutie!

Tip of the Week

My six year old has been re-learning to tie her shoes this week. I thought we had it mastered in kindergarten last year, but since she hasn't worn tie up shoes for a while, she needed a refresher. I think we all could use a little help once in a while so since I've had laces on the brain, I decided to make up a tutorial to go with my Lace Ups v.1 templates. Join me on the keepscrappin designs youtube channel to learn how to make laces for your layouts. Be sure to subscribe to my channel, so you'll know when I add more tutorials.

Month of Love

Can you feel the love in the air? I can and I've decided to play cupid this year with my customers by having a Month of Love promotion during February. Here's how it'll work. Every week I'll go through all the orders from my keepscrappin designs store at Brownie Scraps and pick a winner (or maybe two or three) to get a coupon for the amount of their purchase of my products.

The coupon will be good during March. You never know when cupid will strike, so do your shoppin and cross your fingers because you may get the love that week! If I get lots of sales in one week cupid will share more love, so tell your digi scrappin friends to visit my store and share in the love this month. =)
